Mission Statement
The mission of PROUD is to sponsor opportunities that will encourage Ferguson residents to work together to build a community of harmony and equity, within a diverse group of people.
Goals
• Host opportunities for social interaction and constructive dialogue that will bring together Ferguson residents, businesses, churches, and public servants from all parts of the community.
• Host dinners, forums, community projects, and service events that will bring the people of Ferguson together and increase harmony within the community.
• Use these gatherings to bridge perceived boundaries and to increase unity among members of our community.
• Use these events to help develop the understandings needed to appreciate diversity and achieve equality and harmony for all members of the Ferguson community.
